Reid Design & Events specializes in custom residential and
commercial design and staging, and luxurious events planning and
execution. Passionate, thoughtful, and driven, Charlotte’s design philosophy and motivation is “beautify
the world, one room at a time.” Her hallmark is soothing and welcoming
spaces, custom florals, and sweeping color. Her business has taken her
nationwide for bashes ranging from private social affairs, fundraisers, birthdays, corporate
launches, and, of course, weddings. Design clients return season after
season, a direct testament to her hands-on dedication and eye for quality.
Charlotte
hails from Pasadena, CA, and is a proud alumna of the University of
California, Los Angeles. Her journey spans over two decades and work in
public affairs, marketing, special events, and interior design. She has worked as a publicist,
a media coach to clients from Capitol Hill and Fortune 100™ companies,
and as a special events manager for authors, actors, national
foundations, and noted personalities. Notable clients: The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation,
We Advance, the National Urban League Policy Institute, Victoria
Rowell, Paul Wharton, Chef Timothy Dean, Events DC, and The DC Lottery. As the previous marketing director for a Washington-DC based firm, she coordinated, planned and executed VIP level events for members of Congress, the Mayor of the District of Columbia, and other dignitaries. In addition, she was a key organizer for the annual CBC Authors Pavilion, featuring hundreds of authors. |
